  1. This DOS tip may save you time when copying, renaming, or
  2. deleting files. When you want to DEL, ERASE, or COPY all the
  3. files in a directory, the name of the directory will
  4. suffice; you don't need to type `*.*'. The command `copy a:\
  5. c:\wp' is equivalent to `copy a:\*.* c:\wp', while `del
  6. a:\temp' is equivalent to `del a:\temp\*.*'.

  12. there's a directory by the specified name. But be careful:
  13. If you have files in subdirectories with similar names, a
  14. typo in this command can erase those files.
